As you can see from my 100% feedback, I sell with complete honesty and reliability.  Above all things I am a record collector and music lover.  I only sell records that I would want to receive. I know well the disappointment of receiving an over-graded record that turns up two weeks late.  That is not the service you will receive here, so bid with total confidence. I don’t sell a lot of records because I spend a lot of time carefully finding, grading and listing them and do not like to rush this process, as many sellers must do to be able to sell 100 records a week!

I am mostly a collector of old time music, pre-war blues and folk, so buy job-lots that often contain rare records that aren’t to my taste so to ebay they go!

Here we have the VERY 1st press of Queens masterpiece A Night at the Opera.

Many pressing were made of At Night at the Opera were released but only the very first have the following criteria:

An embossed unlaminated gatefold sleeve printed by Garrod and Lofthouse

All runouts are stamped,

The labels must be matt not glossy

Blairs hand etched into the dead wax of side 2

To come across a very first pressing of At Night at the Opera is a chance happening but in this condition it is almost unheard of! The whole package is in stunning condition!

Sleeve Condition.

The 1st print unlaminated embossed gatefold sleeve is in really nice condition!  There are no rips, writing or splits. The spine is perfectly straight with only very mild wear and is perfectly readable! There is some very mild storage wear  and that’s about it.  The colours are as vibrant as they were on the day of release! Utterly superb

Inner Condition.

The 1st press colour card inner with photos on is in great condition with no rips or tears, or folding! It looks as new!

Label Condition.

The 1st press matt labels are in fantastic condition.  There are no rips, writing or stains to mention. There is no centre hole damage at all. Under a strong light, only 1 or 2 spider line can be seen! Perfect!

Vinyl Visual Condition.

The record looks great! It just looks brand new! It still retains its wonderful shine and lustre after all these years. There are no scratches, warping or dulling at all. When looking under a halogen, only the faintest of removals can be seen that you wouldn’t be surprised to find on a brand new vinyl!! This simply is the best example you will ever find!

Vinyl Audio Condition.

The record sounds superb on all frequencies!  It’s a nice punchy and clear audio throughout! The band is clearly separable by the ear with a superb dynamic sound from start to finish! A sharp sound that just jumps off the record!  It’s just simply amazing! Queen at their very best!
