One of the rarest of the amazing 17 different versions of "Greatest Hits" released in South Korea.
As you can see from the tracklisting, it is unique.
This one attracted me because it's so rare and collectable, not even Discogs has a record of it or its red-tinted counterpart.
This is an unofficial release. Monochrome covers with a tint of colour are a common trait of Korean bootlegs. 2 of the 17 versions were released with this design (basically an adapted version of the "Live Killers" cover art) and, according to the prices on Queen Database, this is easily worth €80.
Condition Sleeve - as they were independent releases, the printing and paper quality was never the highest. This has survived pretty well compared with many of the other types I've seen. The folding on this version is typical - on the back, the flaps fold over the back rather than under. "You're My Best Friend" is mistakenly labelled "You Are My Best Friend". Underneath each song title is a unique serial code which I don't know the meaning of. There is scuffing and smudging on the cover. Inner Sleeve - a standard curved-corner paper sleeve with centre cut-out. Record - South Korean independent LPs tended to use second- or third-generation metal masters meaning there is a completely unique sound to the songs. The LP itself, although unplayed, looks in great condition. That said, you're buying this for the sheer collectability as it's part of the pantheon of the greatest band in the world. If you're looking for a copy to play on your turntable, buy this for your collection and an original UK/Japanese LP for your record player.
