Description

An original 1st press of JAZZ on custom EMI labels. Matrix 1U/1U. The vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold with the embossing of 'Jazz' on the front and rear. Please note the nude photoshoot is PRESENT. We have the original fully laminated inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In super condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of lightest marks per side, a couple of very superficial trails, some superficial scuffing early on S1. ALL FULLY TESTED  - and nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ of playback. A blindingly good player fully clean signalled. Clean into the quiet spots - a superb rendition all round. Plays with energy and power for those explosive moments - but delicate and clean for those melancholy piano driven numbers. A couple of crackles in a couple of isolated isolated spots. Highly recommended. Please note - both labels are signed.
Cover (Vg+) A real pain in the ar*e to find in decent condition. Ageing is often a problem - particularly on the rear. It's unlaminated and will nearly always exhibit surface wear - particularly on the embossed areas. BUT - this example seems to avoided much of these problems. The front is very flat and unaged with minimal surface wear and just a couple of tiny nicks, and one low-level blemish in the centre. The rear looks really great too and seems to have avoided most of the ageing that is so often apparent. Maybe slightest amount in one small spot bottom right corner. The interior is superb - no issues. Only minor edge wear nice sharp firm openings. The spine looks great with minimal wear. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex-) Very nice looking. No splits. Maybe faintest hint of ageing.
Poster (Ex) It in excellent condition. No issues.
