Description

You're in a great position on this title [as a QUEEN fan] - you can basically ask for EVERY box to be ticked on this one>>> EXPECT THE BEST...
An original 1st press of JAZZ on custom EMI labels. Matrix 1U/1U. Reasonably chunky vinyl - for the period. The vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold with the embossing on the front and rear. Please note the nude photoshoot has been pulled out. We have the original fully laminated inner sleeve.
Vinyl (Ex+) In marvellous condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of lightest marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ of playback. Like I said above - you shouldn't be going for anything less than this sort of level. A blindingly good player totally clean signalled. Possibly the best I've witnessed - you most certainly won't be going any better any time soon. Plays with energy and power for those explosive moments - but delicate and clean for those melancholy piano driven numbers. I mean - it is pretty much perfect. The 1U cut is almost certainly the best out there - so if you find a clean copy.... it's a no brainer. A couple of crackles in a couple of isolated spots per side. And one isolated and minor tick in 'Leaving Home'. FINAL UPGRADE>
Cover (Ex) A real pain in the ar*e to find in decent condition. Ageing is often a problem - particularly on the rear. It's unlaminated and will nearly always exhibit surface wear - particularly on the embossed areas. BUT - this copy has time travelled well and we're avoiding ALL of those problems, here. The front is about as good as I've ever seen - nothing more than incredibly slight handling. The rear is even more impressive - just a touch of leftover grubbiness from when the poster was detached [down the bottom left]. Absolutely no problem. The interior is superb - just a touch of residue leftover on the extreme right [from when the poster was detached]. Very little edge wear nice sharp firm openings. The spine is impeccable I'm not sure I've ever seen better. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex+) It was built to last - and it has. Absolutely minter.
