This year marks the 50th anniversary of their debut, and in February 2024, Queen + Adam Lambert will be performing as Queen's first dome tour with 5 performances in 4 locations nationwide. A special live best album selected by Japanese fans that was allowed to be released only in Japan to commemorate their visit to Japan. Released as a 180g heavy edition 2-LP set with a limited production run of 2,000 copies in Japan, pressed in Japan.
To commemorate Queen + Adam Lambert's last visit to Japan in January 2020, this special best album can be called the live version of "Greatest Hits in Japan" released on the 15th of the same month. From November 1st to 25th, 2023, we will record the top songs from the results of the "Vote for your favorite Queen live track!" solicitation on our special website (the number of songs to be recorded is undecided).
In principle, this vote was based on all 170 songs from the past six live albums under the Queen name and the live album "Live Around the World" released in 2020 under the name Queen + Adam Lambert. We are looking for Queen fans living in Japan, with a rule of two songs per person. Five people will be chosen at random from those who vote to receive autographs from Brian May and Roger Taylor. In addition, 600 names will be chosen by lottery to be featured on the CD and LP artwork.
