One of the ultimate Queen rarities and valued at £147 on the Queen database, this Portugese club version of "Sheer Heart Attack" is one of the most collectable Queen artefacts in the world. In 1998, this was number 59 in the world's most valuable Queen items and it's here today in this auction.
Orlador, the publisher behind this rare gem, was a Spanish label from the 60's - 70's . Orlador was the label from the Spanish company based in Barcelona Circulo de Lectores, S.A. (Readers Circle). Released 2 years after the worldwide release of the album, Orlador is a bit like Spun Gold in the USA - acquiring rights after a popular wave to catch the long tail of sales.
The front cover is a yellow background with orange stripes of around an inch appearing diagonally from top to bottom. The band name and album title appear in a non-standard font on the front in blue thought-clouds lined with 3-4mm thick orange borders. At the bottom of the cover, Freddie appears singing into his microphone with a phase-shifted colour separation.
The back of the sleeve is a dark orange border with lighter orange back showing a listing on a white centred square of the tracks.
For these last few days, I am very happy to have ownership of this top 100 worldwide rarity. I hope you derive as much enjoyment as I have from ownership. Happy bidding!

Condition Sleeve - there is still a nice, solid feel to the sleeve. There are scuff marks and ring wear on the back and the front. I've been collecting records for a long time and although it's not perfect, I was happy when I saw the condition of the item and bought it on that happiness. Record - The LP itself, although unplayed, looks in great condition.
