Original 1985 UK 14-LP Vinyl Box Set – Near Mint Vinyl + Factory Mispress & Retained Loose Label.

One LP (Greatest Hits II) contains a factory double-label mispress, where a plain white under-label is visible beneath the printed gold label and is partially covering the LP.
One loose label from the Flash Gordon LP factory double-label application during pressing.
Box lid has some creases, mainly in the corners but very common for this set.
Embossed sleeves vary from different shades of white, also common with this set.
Record inner sleeves may have some small creases/folds.

Full Description
This is the highly sought-after Queen – The Complete Works box set, released by EMI Records in 1985 (catalogue number QB1).
It includes 14 vinyl LPs — all 11 studio albums up to The Works, the Live Killers double album, and the exclusive Complete Vision compilation LP.
Each record features the distinctive white, black & gold “Queen – The Complete Works” label design, exclusive to this edition.
One LP (Greatest Hits II) contains a factory double-label mispress, where a plain white under-label is visible beneath the printed gold label and is partially covering the LP - a genuine EMI manufacturing anomaly that adds collector interest.
Also included is an original loose label from the Flash Gordon LP, believed to be from a similar factory double-label application during pressing.
The loose label shows partial paper loss where it was originally affixed, while the label remaining on the record itself is fully intact and presents beautifully.
This retained label is included for completeness and authenticity.
Documented here with detailed photos; not a separate catalogue variant of QB1 but a genuine factory label application error from the original EMI pressing run.
Condition:
Vinyl (14 LPs): Excellent → Near Mint - clean, glossy surfaces with no visible scratches or scuffs.
Labels: One LP with factory double-label mispress (Greatest Hits II).
Includes one loose Flash Gordon label from a second double-press incident (record label unaffected).
Inserts: Includes the original Queen - The Complete Works photo booklet, Queen Greatest Pix II photo book, Queen Tour Itinerary: The World 1971-1985, and the large map showing countries where Queen charted and performed live.
Inserts are in very good condition overall, with light handling marks or edge wear typical of age.
Outer Box: Light surface creasing on all four lid corners (see photos). Common with this edition due to the heavy construction; purely cosmetic and structurally solid.
