If interested, Seller has listed several other Queen titles at the time of this writing.  The seller received this LP as a promotional copy from the label at the time of its release.  

The vinyl disc was visually inspected and appears to be in NM- to NM condition.  The record has rare non-standard WHITE PROMOTIONAL LABELS used on albums destined for radio DJs, record stores/buyers, and media personnel to promote a new release.  These are typically first pressing copies, which are coveted by collectors.  The labels with the wording “For Promotional Use Only Not For Sale” on the upper left side of each label.

Please Note: Per seller’s research, the standard labels for this release are also white, and look very similar to these promo labels.  However, they lack the wording “For Promotional Use Only Not For Sale.”  

The metallic silver foil cover is in VG+ condition, with some light scuffing and shelf wear. Good corners and seams!  There is a gold promo stamp in the upper right corner with the wording "Promotional Copy NOT FOR SALE."

It has the original glossy paper inner sleeve, which has four color images of the band members on one side and song lyrics on the other side.  There are seam splits on either side of the inner sleeve (4", 2").  The vinyl has been removed and put into a generic white sleeve to prevent further damage.

(Wikipedia Excerpts) The Game is the eighth studio album by the British rock band Queen. It was released on 30 June 1980 by EMI Records in the UK and by Elektra Records in the US. The Game features a different sound from its predecessor, Jazz (1978). The Game was the first Queen album to use a synthesizer.

A critical and commercial success, The Game became the only Queen album to reach No. 1 in the US, and became their best-selling studio album in the US, with four million copies sold to date, tying with the sales for News of the World. Notable songs on the album include the bass-driven "Another One Bites the Dust" and the rockabilly "Crazy Little Thing Called Love", both of which reached No. 1 in the US.

Seller is the Original Owner. I have recently begun to list my 2500+ record collection on Ebay, so please check back occasionally to see my new listings. My collection has been securely boxed and stored in a smoke free environment since 1983. Most of my vinyl records have never been played, and many have their original shrink wrap. Seller was in the retail record business in the 1970's-1980's and acquired many promotional and collectible LPs from that era.

Grading methodology is as follows:

M (MINT) - Album is brand new, sealed, and has never been played.

NM (NEAR MINT) - Vinyl looks as if you just got it home from a new record store and removed the shrink wrap. LP cover may have some light rub marks.

VG+ (VERY GOOD PLUS) - Vinyl may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. Sleeves will have some slight wear, lightly turned corners, or a slight seam split. May have slight signs of wear also may be marred by a cut out hole, sawcut, or cut corner indicating it is a promotional copy.

VG (VERY GOOD) - Vinyl has light wear, scratches, or scuffs. Covers may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached, etc.

Seller ships domestically within the United States via United States Post Office Media Mail with tracking. This is the most economical option. Due to COVID, shipping may take longer than the typical 5-8 day time frame.  Seller will insure packages valued above $30.  Insurance does not cover missing packages after they have been delivered to the buyer's address, only damage or loss during shipping. Warping is possible if vinyl records are exposed to sun/heat during hot months. Provide a shady area for your package delivery, and bring package inside as soon as possible.  If Buyer would prefer a faster shipping service, please contact the Seller before completing the transaction to discuss options such as Priority Mail. Per USPS, Priority Mail packages are delivered in 1-3 days.
