Description

 Queens of the Stone Age
The Fun Machine Took a S*!t and Died
7" Vinyl
Unplayed Original Condition
Record Sleeve Signed By Band

This is your chance to own a very rare piece of Rock Memrobilia

This record was given away to fans that had tickets for Queens of the Stone Age to play the Somerset House gig in London on 07/07/05, subsequently cancelled due to the events on that day and re-scheduled for 22/08/05 at Brixton Acadamy London.

Parts of the show can be seen on the DVD Over the Years and Through the Woods

The record has never been played. Apart from removing it from the sleeve at the time of the gig and once again to take pictures for this listing. Has never been handled and hasn't come within sniffing distance of a turntable. Not exactly hermetically sealed but its been kept in a cool dark place wrapped in cling film ever since that day. The dust cover is in excellent condition and has been signed by all the band at the time.

These were

Josh Homme
Troy Van Leeuwen
Joe Castillo
Alan Johannes
and the late Natasha Shneider

The single features the song The Fun Machine Took a S*!t amd Died on one side and an Interview with Josh Homme on the other.
Hand written QOTSA on one side and blank white label on the other.

The ticket shown in the picture is the one I used to get into Brixton. The ticket is not part of this auction but is proof that I attended the gig and that this single is authentic.
