Quicksilver Messenger Service "Quicksilver Messenger Service"

This is a US vinyl pressing on Capitol ST 2904  from 1968.      This was their first album.     It comes in the original red and silver foil like cover.    Rick Griffin did the front cover art work.    This cover is almost in possible to find mint.     It always shows ring wear very easily or bits of the black flake and chip off.    But, this one is near mint.       The labels are black with the color band and 'Subsidary' is in the rim print.

The band is David Freiberg, John Cippolina, Gary Duncan, and Greg Elmore.    It was produced by Nick Granenites, Harvey Brooks, and Pete Weeding.      

Overall Condition is : Cover is M- /  Record is M-

The front cover is Mint minus with no ring wear, no writing , and no seam splits.   There is the super slightest wear possible that is only noticeable from an angle.     The bottom left corner has a slight bump.    The back cover is also mint minus, because there is a name written in black on the black background by the mouth.    The vinyl looks near mint and it plays near mint.    The labels have no spindle marks.  On the side one label there is a tiny name written on the color band and 2 tiny names written in the black background ( that almost can't be seen).      The record comes in a plain white inner sleeve. 

The songs are : Pride Of Man, Light Your Windows, Dino's song, Gold And silver, It's Been Too Long, and The Fool.

I started collecting records in 1966.     I started selling in Goldmine in 1985.      I now sell records at all Northwest record conventions : Portland, Seattle, Tacoma, Eugene, Grants Pass, and Canby.       And at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon.     My records are from a no smoking and no pets home.  

Packaging :

I take great care on every package and I do each one personally.     I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard.     Each piece is 1/2 inch thick, triple strength industrial cardboard.       Together they are very strong and unbendable.   ( Even the postmen comment on how strong this cardboard is ! )       I always remove the record from the cover and seal them in a clear plastic sleeve.     The package will be marked in red : "Fragile Record" on both sides. 

Postage :  Weight : 1 pound 6 ounces

You have to pay for the postage.     I pre-weigh every record, so that you pay the exact amount the post office charges.   There are no handling charges.     This record will weigh 22 ounces ( 1 pound, 6 ounces ) when ready to ship.   US bidders can figure out your own postage costs for US Priority or Media Mail.    All US winners will get shipping through Paypal and an automatic email with the tracking number.      Overseas bidders must use First Class Mail International.    You will get an automatic email with the customs/tracking number.      ( Buyers from Brazil must assume all risks for shipping to their country. )      I will send your record as soon as you pay ( same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM : Monday thru Saturday)   I will combine shipping if you win more than one record.      Please wait for me to send you an invoice for all of your records in one package.
