Description
Lovely copy of Quintessence's debut album from 1969, complete with its booklet and inner sleeve. Very much of its time - but what a time! Can you imagine a major label releasing anything like this now? This is a first pressing with A//1 B//2 matrices.
Gatefold Sleeve Ex/Ex+ In great condition, just some light rubbing to the corners. The inner booklet is in Ex+/NM condition.
Labels Ex Very clean indeed. Light spindle traces only.
Inner VG Coloured inner bag in good shape. Would be Ex but there are some seam splits to the sides and bottom.
Record Visually Ex/Ex+, superb shine to the vinyl. No marks to be seen in normal light. Fully play-tested, excellent audio throughout. Clear, powerful and well-defined. Interestingly the version of 'Ganga Mai' is a different mix to the one found on the Island sampler 'Nice Enough To Eat'.
