Up for auction is a collectable record album by Big John Wrencher and his Maxwell Street Blues Boys on Barrelhouse Records. All the album cover artwork is done by the legendary artist R. CRUMB. The album was recorded in Chicago in 1969 and was released with a different cover. When the band had more money they hired R. CRUMB to do a second cover in late 1973, or early 1974. The condition of the cover has R G. in black felt pen at top right front, and a top seam split that runs about half way from the opening to the mid. The record has original gloss and shine with a mark on one side at the end that does not effect play. Overall condition grading VG+, maybe less-maybe more. A great R. CRUMB collectable !
