Description
This is a fine original U.K. pressing copy of the second and final LP by Irish punk group the Radiators from Space (here shortened to simply the Radiators), released in 1978. Produced by veteran Tony Visconti (best known for his work with David Bowie), the group's sophomore effort sees them slowing things down a bit and adding keyboards to the mix for a richer sound. Four more singles were drawn from the LP, but none met with the success of their debut, "Television Screen." Frontman Philip Chevron subsequently went on to greater fame and fortune as the lead guitarist for the Pogues. The jacket has two main flaws, a small cutout hole and a 1” tear in the top seam. It also has light ring, corner, and seam wear, and light creasing along the spine and seams -- overall EX(-). The disc is clean, and plays with minimal surface noise -- a strong M-. The disc comes with custom labels. The record also comes with a cardboard custom inner sleeve (EX).
I am in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
