Description

RADIO BIRDMAN What gives/Anglo girl desire (UK) Sire/Phonogram 6078 617 (7 inch 45rpm vinyl single in clean company sleeve, scarce original March 1978 U.K. only issue by classic Stooges-influenced Aussie punk band. Note this was never issued with a picture sleeve, and it was their only British single. It hardly ever turns up in Australia. In Oz “Anglo girl desire” was issued as the flip of “Aloha Steve & Danno” in May 1978, and “What gives” wasn’t released on single in Australia at all! ( see Henry Weld’s discography) Visual grade EX-, plays very loud!)

All records are graded under a strong halogen lamp. I do NOT grade in daylight or use fluoro lighting which makes records look cleaner than they actually are!

This item will be mailed from Adelaide, South Australia

GRADING: I use the (U.K.) Record Collector grading system which includes an EX grade. American collectors please note that EX usually equates to a Goldmine VG++. All records are graded under strong light. I have always had a good reputation for grading and usually get it right. If you're not happy with my grading, tell me. I'm happy to refund if you have a genuine complaint. However, don't expect a near mint record if I've graded it F, G or VG... Records are graded for the most part visually only, although most of the lower grades are also play checked, and in many cases play better than they look. The following gradings are used: M, mint condition, unplayed, with no marks on playing surface and labels as new. Records are rare in this condition and it is a grading I hardly ever use. M-, mint minus, either unplayed, with minimum scuffs caused by paper sleeve, or played once or twice only and still as new. EX, excellent condition, record played carefully, very clean surface, minimum scuffing. (EX+ or EX- means a little better or worse). VG, very good condition, scuffing or signs of groove wear but no bad scratches. (VG+ or VG- means a little better or worse). G, good condition, well played with plenty of scuffs, light scratches and groove wear. F, fair condition, playable but heavily scuffed or scratched, with a lot of surface noise.
