This show, for all you vinyl lovers, and there are a bunch out there judging by the number of you that have responded to my rare and old vinyl radio shows, is a rare vinyl that you will not find on eBay ever.
It is called COUNTRY CALENDAR and aired on the Clayton Webster Corporation
It was an enormously popular show in its day.
It was composed of FOURTEEN mini shows, one for each day of the week and featured a top artist profile in each mini show for an event noted on the calendar for that date.
There are cue sheets with this show
Each show contains a noteworthy event of the day, an interview segment with the featured artist, and a suggested song to be played by the station airing the show having to do with the theme.
Each side of the vinyl lp contained seven mini shows, a total of 14 total. You will hear classic, rare and unique interview segments with your favorite artists, the most popular and the most obscure.
Rare interviews with famous and near famous are always sought after by collectors and the information on each mini show is amazing.
The lp is in excellent condition as are the cue sheets.
This show probably was played during the two weeks covered by each mini show, one track a day, and never again.
They are super rare because most radio stations just threw them away after airing since they could never be played again due to the time limited commercial content and the limited storage space at most radio stations. Believe me, I know; I work at one!
It is an enthralling show that will captivate you. You will be disappointed when it is over.

The shows were sponsored either by Sears and there is a Sears spot on each date, or a spot for Hormel's Spam. We all fondly remember Spam!
It is a great show and it belongs in your collection.
It is a piece of Americana and history and very rare
You just aren't going to find these shows anymore. Think of what they will be worth in a few years! (IF you wanted to sell.) I am selling to share with other music lovers what I was able to get at a reasonable price
