Description

artist: RAESTAR (RAE STAR)
title: WHATCHA WANNA DO?
label/catalogue #: PINK RECORD COMPANY / AR-7037 (ORIGINAL 1985 PRESSING)

VINYL: VG+ Vinyl is still shiny & beautiful with a few light marks and scuffs, nothing that effects strength of play. Music plays strong & loud from beginning to end with just a hint of normal light pop & crackle. The labels look great on both sides with no signs of wear.

COVER: VG+/VG The cover looks great overall aside from the artistic addition by "Dr. Boogie". No, that additional name added to the center of the cover was not there at the time of this records production/pressing. On the upside if this is the same Dr. Boogie I'm thinking of he was actually a pretty well known and amazing selector back in the mid to late eighties! Perhaps Raestar and Dr. Boogie had deep discussions about Prince at some point together.

This auction is for the very rare "WHATCHA WANNA DO? 12" by RAESTAR, an original PINK RECORD COMPANY pressing. This record sold for 1000 dollars in the past, another for 700. A few worn copies have sold since for less but it's been awhile since any have popped up for sale. Definitely a very rare record & this one is in nice condition with the added plus or minus of having Dr. Boogie's signature written large on the front cover.
