Description

Up for sale is a stunning, beautifully preserved copy of the legendary 1987 underground extreme metal compilation "Raging Death (Vol. 1)".


Released on the cult independent label Godly Records (Catalog ID: GRX 001), this is the definitive holy grail blueprint for late-80s extreme metal. It features the legendary, ultra-raw early tracks from Xecutioner (who shortly after became OBITUARY) and R.A.V.A.G.E. (who became technical death metal pioneers ATHEIST), alongside blistering tracks from Sadus, Betrayel, and Lethal Presence.


This copy features the highly collectible translucent dark amber/brown wax formulation. Though it looks like standard solid black vinyl at a glance, it reveals a distinct smoky transparency when held directly up to a strong light source.

The vinyl looks fantastic, retaining an incredibly high factory gloss sheen across both sides. No deep scratches or distracting marks. Shows only minor, harmless surface paper whisps under direct grading light. Audio plays phenomenally clean, loud, and aggressive.

The outer sleeve is structurally rigid, square, and solid. The color artwork remains exceptionally bright with zero ring wear or staining. Spine is straight and fully legible. Edges and corners are crisp with minimal storage wear. No seam splits, writing, or cutouts.
