RAINBOW BRDIGE BAND:A Tribute To Jimi Hendrix (private/1989)
What is there left to do when you are the world's top Hendrix collector? Form your own Hendrix tribute band and release a ripping LP of Hendrix covers. That's what New Jerseyite Bill Baker did in the late 80s. Bill sang and played lead as the band ripped through 8 Hendrix classics.
The result is this now long out of print truly homemade looking private pressing in a run of I believe 500 copies. Sold primarily at local record shows, this is now not easy to find, but well worth tracking down (or placing lots of bids on this sealed copy).
The back cover features a great black & white collage of pics of Jimi, Noel & Mitch mixed in with thr RBB trio.
