JUST ACROSS THE RIVER
1966 Parlophone DEMO - R 5471. Here is a extremely rare original 1966 uk Demo copy of this excellent one and only 45 by the 'Ram Holder Brothers'. This very rare Mod-Beat-Blues 45 was produced by Paul Jones of Manfred Mann. A great A-side backed by an even better cool sounding Hammond-Mod B-Side. With this listing i have included complete MP3s of both sides, these MP3s were taken directly from the vinyl. The pictures are of the actual 45 for sale. Please check out my other items!
CONDITION = VG+
Both sides of the vinyl still have a really nice original sheen, the A-side is really excellent and clean with no stand out surface marks, just very light signs of play, the B-side would be similar if not for a couple of very small random scuff marks, one of these scuffs is at the beginning of the track, this causes just a few tics for only the first few turns, this can be heard on the MP3 provided, the other couple of scuffs are barely audible, apart from these few tics on the B-side there is just some occasional light background crackle to be heard. The Demo labels are clean with just a few light signs of storage. The original Parlophone records paper sleeve is in very good condition with some creasing but no splits.
If you collect rare Mod-Psych & Freakbeat 45s, and the stranger more obscure beat and popsike releases from the mid to late 1960s, then this very rare original 1966 uk Demo 45 would make a really great addition to any collection.
