Up for sale is my long treasured AUTOGRAPHED Ramones debut LP. I've had this for quite a while. I bought this years ago from my local record store, from the owner himself, Ray. He'd been cleaning up his basement and found it leaning against the wall right next to his heater. He'd bought it from someone trading in vinyl at his store. Because it was next to his heater, in his basement, the cover of the record looks very punk rock, with edges decomposed, or eaten, on the top and bottom edges, so PLEASE SEE ALL PHOTOS! Personally, I think the damage on the cover gives it a unique and truly punk rock vibe. The photo on the front and back is super clean, the autographs in great shape, with a very legible spine. The inside of the cover has NO damage, no mold, no issues at all, very white and clean looking. The vinyl inside is shiny and clean, great color, looking like it's been barely played. NO warping, NO scratches, the vinyl looks, and as I'm listening to it now, sounds very clean, very clear, very awesome. The autographs are very legible, and when seen alongside other items with their signatures, its definitely their signatures, being Johnny Ramone, Dee Dee Ramone, Marky Ramone, and Joey Ramone. Ray, the previous owner, was super stoked to find it and then sold it to me. He's more a Jazz and 78rpm record collector, and he knew my love of Punk. The only info he had was that it came from a show in San Francisco. This is one of my long loved treasures, but we're trying to fund opening a record store here in Oregon so I'm giving it up for the cause. If it doesn't sell soonish, I'll pull it down and spend the $300 to get the signatures verified, but in my mind, it's absolutely the real deal. The record itself is, from my research, a reissue, not a first pressing. We've been selling on eBay for awhile now, having stopped for a slew of surgeries and now retired from employment because of it. So, we're opening up a record store where it will be easier for me to stay active with my issues, and all proceeds from sales of our (mostly rare / scarce) vinyl goes towards making our store a reality (building records racks now, and our CD racks are full!). We use official LP mailers with the record outside the cover, and in clean white sleeves separately from any photo inner sleeves. All vinyl is cleaned with an enzyme spray then finished with a SpinClean Machine. With sealed vinyl, please understand that we will only accept returns if the LP is still sealed, which is for our financial protection as well as yours.
