Very rare USA album on Hobbit records by Randy Holden titles Population II (probably since the entire LP was played by only two guys, randy and Chris Lockheed on Drums. Legendary psych LP, Holden was for some time lead guitarist of Blue Cheer, The Other Half, and The Sons Of Adam, while the drummer Chris Lockheed was formerly with Kak. I thought this was the first pressing but I have been advised it is not such. Honestly I still have some doubts. I'm a good expert of collectors records, I'm in the field since maybe 30 years so I can tell that if this is not an original it is surely one of the best reissues ever done I have seen. Perfectly printed cover, perfect printing on spine, professionally and clearly, bright, made labels, even more exact and matching matrix numbers etched in the trail off area!!! Maybe a legitimate reissue from the record company ? I don't know. What I can tell for sure is that the record is more than 20 years old, since I bought it in a collection from a guy who was buying in the 80's, anyway I can't prove it is original and I'm selling it for very reduced price, even if, copies like mine, have been sold for 500 or 600 bucks on Ebay. Make your choice for the music that is GREAT on this album :-D and all the best!
CONDITIONS: ex+/ex+ (from strict Record Collector grading) cover is absolutely nice, with NO DRILL HOLE (by the way, some people say that all the copies have a drill hole, no, of course no, but if you want I can make one for you!! :-D) no seam splits, perfect spine, minimal (if any) age wear. Record is just clean and beautuful, just a few times out of its sleeve, not far from a MINT-
