up for auction is this depression era 1929 race record by Ike Rodgers on Paramount 12816 "Screenin' The Blues/ It Hurts So Good" in G+ to V- Condition. Still a very playable copy of this classic blues performance. I deal exclusively in these frail 78 rpm discs (and the occasional 45) so you can rest assured that they will be sandwiched between multiple pieces of 10" cardboard squares and placed inside a 12x12x4 box filled with packing peanuts. It really would be great if more 78 dealers followed this simple shipping method that is nearly USPS-proof. I've never had a 78 break in the mail with this system out of thousands that I've mailed.
