Description
“Comedy Replacement” Radio Show Transcription Disc
One Complete 30 Minute Program On This 16 inch, vinyl, 33 1/3 rpm Disc
This disc was issued to radio stations for broadcast only and Not Available To The General Public, Very Rare!
This disc contains the "Abbott & Costello" radio program from November 8, 1945 starring Bud Abbott & Lou Costello with Mel Blanc, Will Osborne & His Orchestra, Connie Haines
In this episode, Abbott & Costello are to show up to star in a movie by Universal Pictures, they get sidetracked and stopped by a police officer who thinks they're crazy and send them to the sanitarium! Very Funny.
Connie Haines sings "This Is A Lovely Way To Spend An Evening" & "It's Been A Long Long Time" with Will Osborne & His Orchestra
Disc has some scratches on side one which cause clicks but not skips, otherwise in EX- condition with EX- sound.
Due to their size, 16 inch discs may not play on standard turntables. For $10 I can include a CD dub of the disc for the buyer
U. S. Buyer pays $6.50 Media Mail shipping
