Description
Up for sale is a SUPER RARE find. Truly one of a kind 1947 acetate demo for Studio Artists And Recorders. It's a recording of "What Are You Doing New Year's Eve?" By Frank Loesser, it is sung by Frank Loesser himself. This is a recording that composers and publishers would send to out to record labels and artists. This is most likely the first EVER recording of this song. The B-side is Frank and some others goofing off and singing another composers song.
These acetate records weren’t meant to last, but this one is in pretty decent shape for being 70 years old. A couple dings (see pics).Because of the fragility of this record, it’s only been played once by me. I can send you the video if requested.
This is an amazing treasure and a true one of a kind!
