This is a RARE ORIGINAL 1950 10 INCH PRESSING of a release by the immortal LEADBELLY called TAKE THIS HAMMER. The album was issued as Folkways 4; this is a MONO copy. THE 8-PAGE BOOKLET WITH ILLUSTRATIONS AND LYRICS IS INCLUDED. GOLDMINE'S AMERICAN RECORDS PRICE GUIDE VALUES IT AT $120. 15 cuts include GOOD MORNING BLUES, LAURA, GREEN CORN, YELLOW GAL, GRAY GOOSE, PICK A BALE OF COTTON, MEETING AT THE BUILDING, IRENE, MOANING, BIG FAT WOMAN and TAKE THIS HAMMER.
