Description
This 1955 Ella Fitzgerald LP, "Sweet and Hot," is a rare find with the vinyl in such superb condition. The vinyl looks impeccable when examined under strong light, the surfaces glossy as if it were rarely if ever played, so I'm grading it near mint. The jacket, however, has a light stain along the bottom edge and a bit of light scuffing on the front. It also has a 2-inch split along the top edge and a 5 1/4"-inch split along the bottom edge. This is Decca records DL8155. The catalog number and the silver on black label with the words "Long Play" along the bottom identify it as the original 1955 release. In near mint, this record is priced at $175 in the new Goldmine price guide. Thanks for your interest.
