WITH MUCH APPRECIATION TO ALL OUR CUSTOMERS: If you have a question on orders received, please contact us. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. When leaving Feedback, please consider the following: eBay's policy on the 5-star rating system is anything less than a 5 reduces our standing with eBay and ultimately can affect our selling abilities. SO please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! We have served thousands of satisfied customers - far more than our feedback records indicate - and our aim is to continue to do so.
We have a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 2/3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers.
We mail all paid orders out once a week on Fridays/Saturdays. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule to Monday. We strive to keep our shipping and handling costs as close to actual charges as reasonable. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. Please be aware we have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.
TO OUR REPEAT CUSTOMERS: We are happy to hold orders to save on shipping. Please pay your current invoice within five days of auctions ending and, if you request, we will hold your order and reflect a shipping discount for each additional order shipped together in the same parcel.
As always, thank you for your support!
SUPER RARE 1964 MONO ORIGINAL COLLECTIBLE!
THE BEATLES
Ain't She Sweet
...USA - ATCO RECORDS - 33 169 - MONO
RARE ...MONO...ORIGINAL...
... Yet another of the obscure lesser seen original sixties Beatles collectibles that is seen at high collector prices (three $$$ figures) due to rarity and demand...
The Beatles "Ain't She Sweet" Lp is a 1964 compilation LP from ATCO which has four tracks by The Beatles with Tony Sheridan and eight additional tracks by the Swallows (six of the Swallows songs are Lennon-McCartney compositions). Ain't She Sweet was a U.S. only release featuring the title song with vocal by John Lennon and cover versions of Beatles and British Invasion-era songs recorded by the Swallows. As Atlantic Records only had rights to four Sheridan/Beatle recordings recorded by Polydor Records, they filled the rest of the album with Beatle and British Invasion cover songs.
For this release, a second drum track, apparently by Bernard Purdie, was overdubbed on "Ain't She Sweet" as apparently, Atlantic officials were not impressed by the drumming of Pete Best. They also edited out Sheridan's profanity on "Take Out Some Insurance On Me, Baby".
The album remains one of the rarest in the Beatles discography...
Side One
- "Ain't She Sweet" (performed by The Beatles),
- "Take Out Some Insurance On Me, Baby" (Sheridan/The Beatles)
- "I Wanna Be Your Man" (performed by The Swallows)
- "She Loves You" (performed by The Swallows)
(All performances by The Swallows)
- "How Do You Do It?"
- "Please Please Me"
- "I'll Keep You Satisfied"
- "I'm Telling You Now"
- "I Want to Hold Your Hand"
- "From Me to You"
CONDITION: The cover: Solid and strong...the front is "EX" (excellent) looks like a great display item. The back cover(see photo #2) has a light stain like coffee and lower right corner area (top layer only) like snail trail eaten away...not as bad as it looks, see for yourself. The actual cover remains very solid & stiff with no split seams, and no writing.
The vinyl: clean labels, the grooves are all glossy with numerous minor tiny short scuffs, visual VG(+)...the deep groove pressing plays so nice around EXcellent ...super rare item that you just don't see in decent shape.
keeper!
A GREAT ADDITION TO ANYONE'S COLLECTION !
