Description
Rare Regional R&B / Mod-Soul Grail from Ohio
Up for auction is a highly sought-after original 1964 pressing of The Pharoads on the legendary Jay-Em Records (Middletown, Ohio). This is a rare "double-sider" featuring the high-energy "Mobby Scabby" and the instrumental groove "Grand Ma's Pad."
Condition & Professional Care:
• Vinyl Grade: Strong VG+
• Surface: Under direct light, some light hairline scuffs and paper marks are visible. Important: These are strictly cosmetic and are NOT feelable to the touch.
• Sonic Quality: This record has been professionally maintained and cleaned in an Ultrasonic Cleaner. The deep-cleaning process has removed decades of microscopic debris, resulting in a crisp, punchy sound with minimal surface noise.
• Labels: Excellent condition. Bright, vibrant orange labels with sharp text and minimal spindle wear.
• Matrix / Dead Wax: * Side A: RITE 1340 12604
• Side B: RITE 1340 12603
• (Indicates an original 1964 pressing from Rite Record Productions in Cincinnati).
