Description
This rare and sought after original 1965 release form Bamboo Records, produced by Clement Dodd features a compilation of outstanding Jamiacan artists performing on this LP entitled The History of Ska 1960 -1965. Acclaimed by Jerry Dammers of the Specials in an early television interview as being heavily influencial in the development of British Ska in the 1970s. The vinyl is in excellent, almost mint condition but for a couple of faint hairline marks visible under close scrutiny which do not have a detrement to the listening pleasure. The cover is in excellent condition without tears or splits with the spine in tact. The reverse of the sleeve has some mild discolouration indicative of its age. The lables are clean and without writing and have some spindle marks towards the centre hole, evidence this has been played and enjoyed. Altogether a well cared for and fine example of this seminal british classic that would sit proudly amongst any collection.Payment

All records are packed using quality mailers with stiffners, the vinyl is removed from the sleeve and secured to protect the sleeve from spine splits whilst in transit. All records are protected with quality outer plastic covers. Items are shipped using Royal Mail services. Items will be shipped the same day if paid for before 14:00 and processed the next day if paid for after 14:00.
