PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. The 2nd of at least 5 collectible albums by the South African "BATS" ... a direct decendent of the wild and wooly British Invasion scene that electrified the sixties world, all the way down to the tip of South Africa, a British territory.... As a result of the UK beat scene, South Africa had their own 'happening' sixties club hubs, even if they were cut off from the rest of the world. On par with the Beatles, Stones, Zombies, Kinks, Animals, were South African answers in raver bands like 'The Acads', 'John E Sharpe and the Esquires', 004's, The Staccatos, and even the South African 'Zombies' etc etc and onward ... here in the middle of all that were the BATS with their all reverb guitar song structures meshed in with catchy melodies, English accents and styles somewhere in the Beatles, Hollies and Zombies poprock styles, then spiced by up-tempo teen-scene moves dominated by stinging guitar appeal.... BATS albums seldom ever surface and even IF when they do they are worn out - here a survivor that plays clean...and sports a classic cover...
Italy had collectible sixties bands like the "I Kings" and "New Dada", while South Africa had 'The Bats' ....

CONDITION: The Cover: the dront and back cover in TOP shape, hardly ever found THIS clean = "EX" (excellent) to M- with bright original colors, no bends(!), no split seams, no writing ... it will be a long time before a cover to a BATS album surfaces for sale, this clean!
The Vinyl: both sides are glossy with some visual, VG++ minor and harmless inner sleeve type hais scuffs, looks really nice for a primitive '66 first printing, plays fantastic all excellent zones, heard no surface problem when play grading...clean orange CBS label have a company stamp and that's all....
A cool addition to anyone's music library!
