Please keep in mind, we would prefer to continue to provide you the opportunity to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over +22,000 positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. WHITE LABEL PROMOTIONAL The virtually unknown band IVORY modeled their music after the sounds of Jefferson Airplane. In fact, it was produced in 1968 by the Airplane's genius himself, Mr. Al Schmitt. The group features beautiful female vocals by Chris Christman, and fuzzed-out guitars highlighting the often thrilling offerings...
IVORY may be the finest Jefferson Airplane sound not by Jefferson Airplane themselves. It is quite a masterful selection reflecting " Surrealistic Pillow," and as strong as other peak Airplane albums, holding its own with the band's prime 60's flavors.
IVORY-- and producers Les Brown Jr. and Al Schmitt -- definitely knew how to get the most out of talented longhair crew. It would be difficult to over-praise the abilities of band members Kenny Thomure and Mike McCauley, exhibiting a near-telepathic partnership in their organ & fuzz guitar instruments, while Chris Christman's full-bodied vocals are with room-filling powers -- plus first-rate studio drumming. The songs are strong lyrically concentrating on cosmic concerns ranging from the stars to such nebulous ideas of inner dimension ala "infinite realms of peace" to more era-endemic principles like freedom. The opening "Silver Rains" is perhaps the album's most potent track. A bit ominous and eerie, a highs in chaotic and wired, it displays just how dynamic and forceful Christman's vocals could be. Nearly as stellar is the awesome psychy-rock "A Thought," complete with guitars so fuzzed-out you could get a buzz off them intertwining by organ and piano lines leading up to a scintillating rave-up with the boogie grooved looseness of the band 'Traffic.'
The album's most serene moment is the tender "Losin' Hold," a song with more than a slight resemblance to the call and answer duets perfected by Marty Balin and Grace Slick , up to the similar classic standards found on 'Surrealistic Pillow.
IVORY weren't really able to develop a distinctive personality of their own -- one can only bemoan the band's early demise and speculate how they might have gone on to develop -- but borrowed sound and style or not, the band's sole album stands up as menacing, tough-nosed psychedelia loaded with flashes of genuine brilliance...hard to get, here's a clean playing platter from 58 years, lost and found.

Also front has bumped corner at bottom left, little bottom right (little bit!) otherwise collection ready. The back group cover is M- clean. No faded areas,no delete marks, no split seams, and no writing ...
