RARE and sought Original VINYL first pressing n the highly collected rainbow Capitol label...The Corporation were a talented garage/psych band who could veer off in adventurous zones as noted within their side long track "INDIA" -- a real treat to still let loose with...The album has been a hard to find item for sometime, valued at $100 in M- years ago...
Formed in Milwaukee in 1968 at Cudahy's Galaxy Club where the Kondos brothers joined up with members of an outfit called Eastern Mean Time. Some months later they were heard by Capitol reps at another club The Bastille, which the band had bought into.
With a contract for an album the band journeyed to Detroit to record at Terra Shirma studios with producer John Rhys. Released in February 1969, the LP is notable for the great side-long psychedelic rework of John Coltrane's India. A mesmerizing band workout that features terrific fuzz guitar and heady group involved passages-- this was a big favorite of many undergruond FM rock stations in the late 60's, early 70's...All tracks on side one were group compositions. It was successful in several regions (No. 3 in Milwaukee).

CONDITION: The cover is solid with light wear stated but NO seam splits, no bends and no writing ... actually still looks pretty good
The vinyl is glossy ~ has some light thin scuff lines and one light needle mark, VG(+) though still plays enjoyable. It will be put through a 'VPI' record wash system for dust or dirt particals removal out of the grooves
