On offer here is a rare UK original BEGGAR’S OPERA LP titled “BEGGAR’S OPERA ACT ONE” issued on the VERTIGO label (Spiral labels) No. 6360 018 with first pressing matrix Nos. 6360 018 1Y//1 v 420 & 6360 018 2Y//1 v 420.
This record rarely surfaces especially in the condition that this one is, being one of the rarest progressive albums of it’s era.
Record is housed in a gatefold cover and comes complete with original swirl inner sleeve.
Tracks; Poet And Peasant – Passacaglia – Memory –Raymond’s Road – Light Cavalary.
Record, other than the odd light surface marks is in EXCELLENT condition, plays absolutely brilliant.
Cover looks to have had some moisture on the inside and been stuck together, there’s no real damage but you can see traces on both sides, where it’s been stuck together EX-
