This is an ORIGINAL 1971 BRITISH FIRST PRESSING of a release by DONOVAN called H.M.S. DONOVAN. The 2 RECORD SET WAS NEVER ISSUED IN THE UNITED STATES; THIS IS THE BRITISH FIRST PRESSING COMPLETE WITH THE FOLD-OUT POSTER. COLLECTOR PRICE GUIDES VALUE IT AT $100. It was issued as Dwan 4001. 28 cuts include THE WALRUS AND THE CARPENTER, JABBERWOCKY, THE SELLER OF STARS, LOST TIME, THE STAR, THE ROAD, THINGS TO WEAR, THE OWL AND THE PUSSYCAT, HOMESICKNESS, MR. WIND, CELIA OF THE SEALS, THE PEE SONG, THE VOYAGE OF THE MOON, THE UNICORN, LITTLE BEN, A FUNNY MAN, LORD OF THE REEDY RIVER and THE SONG OF WANDERNG AENGUS. GATEFOLD JACKET has light ring wear, is otherwise in superb condition; there is a small rectangle of black marker on the back cover. BOTH VINYL ALBUMS AND THE POSTER are in MINT CONDITION.
