We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! Kollektiv was a very creative German progressive psych band mainly influenced by the better edgy experimental Krautrock bands of early 70's.
From their late 60's formation, then time going by, they decided to risk themselves creating druggy complex prog-psych music, entirely changing their initial sound, knowing they were damn good musicians. So by 1970 they changed their name to Kollektiv joining ranks with then exploding popular "Krautrock" scene. With the new name, the band released their only album in 1973 featuring professional intricate jazzistic scales within space rock format involving lots of experimentation, to the vein of early Embryo.
"Kollektiv" is an excellent album and one of the most creative 'Krautrock' albums. They also reflect to early Kraftwerk line-up with pre-NEU members.
"Kollektiv" sound close to pre-Kraftwerk rarity "Tone Float" released by pre-Kraftwerk rarity "Organisation"
"Kollektiv" is a spacious combination of unusual electrified flute, winds and guitar structures, strong bass & drums, together characterized by stoned-in atmospherics.
"Kollektiv" also reminds of both Neu!, and Pink Floyd, "Ummagumma" Lp's.
Long jamming tracks soar into depths of space. There's nothing too loud, yet centered on memorable seductive transcendental moods. Musically they blend very tightly hypnotically together, moving in flowing, then jagged bass, guitar, fluttering flute and drumming...edgy, raw patterns - highlighted by "cosmic" rock driving rhythms showering onward with effected-devices to their wind instruments -- reverberating, zig-zagging thru speakers in a varied way; meditative, aggressive, mysterious or simply very complex rocking.
The jamming is highly skilled, colorful, and dreamily gliding along within rushing atmospherics, especially in the two lengthy numbers. Fair to say this is one of those albums where all the four members work together to perfection.

"Kollektiv" was Jürgen Havix (guitar/zither), Klaus Dapper (flute/sax), Jürgen Karpenkiel (bass guitar) and Walemar Karpenkiel (drums). <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>
The mind seducing "Rambo Zambo" opens the album building up steam to jumping into high energy on the nearly twelve minute voyage. The grooves are reminiscent of NEU, tripped-out by a rambling psychedelic shifting, setting the tone for the rest of the album.
"Baldrian" is slightly tamer with very atmospheric hypnotic, spacey and deep psychedelic soundscapes. Laid back and a slightly bluesy with wah-wah sax and reverberated slide guitar, delivers dreamy, psychedelic sensations.
"Försterlied" is a short and bizarre track combined by an equally bizarre poem This eccentric improvisation closes out the first side of the album, giving way to the band's side long three part epic, "Gageg" -- divided into three parts, "Andante", "Allegro" and "Pressluft", seamlessly merging full of tripped-out effects; mixing floating flute lines and guitar disharmonies in a relative calm tempo. While still a vehicle for flute winds and guitar soloing. Beginning slowly before building into intense avant-jazz funk work.
"Andante" is very atmospheric and is a part that sets the stage. "Allegro" is the part that brings a laid back jam for both flute and guitars. The final part "Pressluft" takes about eleven minutes to conclude, starting with angular King Crimson styled guitar riffs over which drums jazzily riff together, clearly the best track on the album
