Description:

Up for your consideration is the next in a series of unique Lps, this one featuring Faster Pussycat.
A few unique things about this item:
Firstly, this item retains the original shine with no visible imperfections, grading by sight in normal room light.   I took the time to play it and found the ten (10) tracks to audibly average NEAR MINT (!) with only a few scattered traces of very, very light surface noise, if even that.  Seldom do records play this well.  You can assign your own grade based on my detailed track-by-track comments and the grading scale shown below.

I am using the Goldmine scale of G=Good(1), VG = Very Good(2), VG+ = Very Good Plus(excellent)(3), NM = Near Mint(4) when grading the disc(s).
Here is a summary of the record(s):
Artist: Faster Pussycat
Title:  Self-titled Record:  Black vinyl with the original shine and no visible imperfections, grading by sight in normal room light. Labels:  Black/red with mostly silver print.  A few very faint spindle marks.  No pen/pencil marks, no stickers.    Trailing wax:  Side 1:  STE 60730 A-1 1-1 STERLING SRC Side 2: STE 60730 B-1 1-1 STERLING SRC  Inner sleeve(s):  A generic, white sleeve in fine shape.  
Cover:  Corners are slightly worn with a few creased tips.  Small price sticker front upper right corner (see scan). No pen/pencil marks.  Some slight general/ring wear.  Some short crinkles off the edges.   Rate the cover VG to VG+(excellent), closer to VG+(excellent). You can assign your own grade based on my comments.
Comments:   I took the time to play it and found the ten (10) tracks to audibly average NEAR MINT (!) with only a few scattered traces of very, very light surface noise, if even that.  Seldom do records play this well.  A great addition to your LP collection.

Don't change that song -- I couldn't hear anything wrong at all.  Near mint (4.0). Bathroom wall -- maybe some scattered very, very light surface noise (3.9) No room for emotion - maybe some scattered very, very light surface noise (3.9) Cathouse - I couldn't hear anything wrong at all.  Near mint (4.0) Babylon - I couldn't hear anything wrong at all! Near mint (4.0)
Side 2: -- Comments Smash alley - some scattered very, very light surface noise (3.9) Shooting you down - I couldn't hear anything wrong at all! Near Mint. (4.0) City has no heart - I couldn't hear anything wrong at all! Near Mint (4.0) Ship rolls in - I couldn't hear anything wrong at all! Near Mint (4.0) Bottle in front of me - I couldn't hear anything wrong at all! Near Mint (4.0)
Additional criteria I use when audibly grading records for people: NM(4) = absolutely nothing wrong at all (very rarely happens--I've even opened sealed records and they don't play Near Mint)
3.5-3.9 = very, very light surface noise 3.1-3.4 = very light surface noise, very light pops VG+(3) = up to light pops and light surface noise (below this, one's enjoyment is affected, very subjective) VG(2) = up to medium pops and moderate surface noise G(1) = up to heavy pops and heavy surface noise
I normally ship single LP records in a 13x13x2 box. Weight with box is about 15 oz. Shipping is 0-1 pounds Media Rate, $4.63 + $1.57 box = $6.20.
Alternatively, I can ship in a 14 x 14 x 6" box. Weight with box is about 1 pound 8 oz. Shipping is $5.38 Media Rate (1-2 pounds) + $3.70 box/tape/packing = $9.08.  I have to buy those boxes individually.
I'm shipping to you at cost.  If you feel it is too much, please look elsewhere.  E-bay will charge me 10-15% of the shipping as well.
This auction is currently set to ship in the smaller box. If you want the larger box, let me know and I'll send an appropriate invoice.
Buyer pays shipping/handling. Standard method within U.S. is Media Rate, $6.20. This includes online tracking. Outside U.S., e-mail location to determine S/H costs prior to auction end. Insurance / other methods of shipping cost extra. Payment received within ten days of auction ending.
