Description
Here is Little Richard on Specialty records, ORIGINAL "first press" with long playing micro-groove. SP-100 (SP-LP-100-1)
A must have for Rock N Roll fans!!
The songs are:
(A) Tutti-Frutti, True Fine Mama, Cant believe you wanna leave, Ready Teddy, Baby, Slippin' and Slidin'
(B) Long tall Sally, Miss Ann, Oh Why?, Rip it up, Jenny Jenny, She's got it
Record is graded VG and plays smoothly with the original "Specialty Hiss" with NO skips, pops, ticks, jumps, bumps, etc. Very, very hard to find ORIGINAL!! Comes with new inner paper sleeve and outer plastic sleeve only, no cover. Semi-glossy record, but then again they werent that glossy in the 1950's. It is like a shellac, bend it and it'll snap. Play graded--other than play hiss--would be NM. These original LP's do NOT bend, they would shatter or snap like glass. These book at $1,000.00 !! Bid or buy it now for $88.00 (hence the 88 fingers/keys)
SP-LP-100-SIDE 1 neatly etched on side 1
SP-LP-100-SIDE 2 neatly etched on side 2
1st ORIGINAL press!!
Record grading guided by Goldmine (graded in light):
MINT: No scuffs, scratches, blotches, stains, labels, writing, tears or splits. Simply perfect.
NEAR MINT (NM): A Record that may have one or two tiny, minor flaws such as light paper scuffs from sliding in and out of the sleeves that do not affect play.
EXCELLENT (EX or VG+): A Record has been handled and played either very little or very carefully. The vinyl may have lost some but not all of it's original luster or have a slight scratch that doesn't affect play.
VERY GOOD (VG): A Record that displays visible signs of handling and playing such as loss of vinyl luster, light surface scratches, groove wear and spindle trails. A VG record may look like it will have some audible surface noise when it is played, although any noise should not overwhelm the music or ruin the listening experience.
GOOD (G): The Record is well played, with any number of defects such as complete loss of surface sheen, obvious surface noise, etc.
Please ask about other rare and one of a kind 45's, 33's I may have and dont forget to check out my other record auctions.
