We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback.   We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Here's an ultra rare, hand numbered (#209) LP of only 300 made ...top sound quality 2nd press of the greatly unknown OCTOPUS 4 album from 1969 ... this 300 issue from some 15+ years ago sold out in a minute, rendering it more extinct than the original....

OCTOPUS 4's only recordings were released in their homeland France as well as in Canada.
True FREAKBEAT, with oddball tongue-in-cheek organ/guitar and "psyched-up" with Beatles/Procol Harum/Stones influences where they lay weird spoken bits in English with cool French accents, boiling rave-ups, freaky jokes, and more....that meets head on with the killer psych sleeve. Not that far in sound from the sought after albums by Popera Cosmic and Jean Le Fennec, but we feel all around better, track for track... Even IF this band were one of the more obscure outfits from France, the album is completely among the more palatable to American tastes. One could easily tell there was a bit of derangement (drugs?) present with these guys, as a couple of the members were painted as mimes and they certainly do deliver outstanding psychedelic laced freakbeat grooves -- like the catchy doomy "Somethings Dead" or the tripped out acid fried "Rain And Tears" ... as well you get one of the freakiest versions of the Stones classic "Satisfaction" you'll ever hear, with great globs of fuzz guitar and Hammond organ ... both sides include songs with serious psyched-out sound effects woven in and out of the mixes... one to own, if at least admire, greatly!

The vinyl: the thick platter is very clean M- and has surprisingly fantastic sound...how could one tell the first press in sound quality from this second press? = Exactly the same!  ... whatta trip this band is!
