Description

THIS IS A VERY SELDOM SEEN JAZZ MAMBO 45 RECORD DUE TO THE SCARCITY OF THE RECORD ITSELF. THIS MAY MAKE A SPLENDID STOCKING STUFFER FOR THAT JAZZ & MAMBO BUFF WHOE ENJOYS AND COLLECTS VINYL!
This is a very rare red vinyl 45 rpm record entitled "Honeydripper Mambo" by mambo jazz artist Alfredito and His Orchestra. One side has "Part 1" and the other side has "Part 2". Alfredito was actually Alan Levy who was based in the Queens borough of New York City where he had been considered to be the King of Mambo in the 50s in that area of NYC.
This 45 was released under the Rainbow Records label in 1953 and is red vinyl. The sleeve is a new white generic sleeve. This record appears to have been handled a lit over the approximate 62 years since release. The side with Part 1 has a few spots where the blue of the label has chipped away at top. and a slight chip is noted at edge with no apparent effect on play. There are many light scratches and a few scuffs on each side but this red vinyl plays through with no skips, pops or repeats and produces a quality sound with very nominal surface noise. It is rated a strong VG as to condition (Goldmine Standards).
This will ship in heavy duty record mailer with ample bubble wrap.
