This listing is for what I believe is a rare example of Sam Lightnin Hopkins. The songs are UNSUCCESSFUL BLUES and GRIEVING BLUES on Lightning Records label number 104 out of Houston, Texas. This record plays with light background noise. There is one defect that I must mention. One the edge it looks as though it has suffered some sort of trama in a little wedge shape. When held at an angle you can see this. I have played both sides 3 times and it plays quite well. I do believe it will have to be handled carefully though. If this area is mishandled it will go into the first 30 or so seconds on both sides. I generally do not sell records and have done some research on grading as many of these are used. I have played both sides and it plays fine with some background noise. Worn but playable . I am listing a large variety of mostly 1950's , 1960's and some1970's 45 rpm r.p.m. records . Some were obviously enjoyed many times and others are in the sleeves looking like they have never to only several times been played. Please check my other listings.
