This listing is for the RARE 1st Chuck Berry 4 Song EP Titled Head Over Heels, Chess Records Number EP 5118. The songs on this EP are: School Days, Wee Wee Hours, Too Much Monkey Business, and Brown-Eyed Handsom Man. This issue of the EP was short lived as it was retitled "After School Sessions" with a different updated cover featuring Chuck Berry's face inside of the silhouette of a bell. That second cover is the much, much more common version that shows up whereas this 1st cover with the couple on the beach being flipped turns up few and far between. The cover is in VG+ condition and all the seams are Intact Except for a very small portion on the bottom right corner where the paper started to separate just about 1/4" of an inch. There is foxing on the front and back cover and it appears this is common with the Chess and Checker EP covers from that era as the paper used back then to manufacture the cover slicks did not hold up, resist the elements or age well. If not for the foxing this would be graded higher. The record is the 1ST Press with the Silver Top Chess Label. Upon first inspection it appears the record is in VG++ condition, but upon tilting and viewing under bright sunlight I viewed more very thin light surface lines which warranted the downgraded to VG+. There is a nice finish to the vinyl and the labels are crisp and clean. Shipping in the U.S. is $3.95. If you would like Ins.
