Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. Songs written by activist/hipster student musicians concerning the 1964 protest movement (Free Speech Movement - or FSM)--at the University of Berkeley California. The September-October 1964 campus confrontations at The University Of California, Berkeley marked the mobilization of the 1960s student protest movement! This album represents the only source of the recordings within -- appearing nowhere else.
Unfortunately, no tapes exist of the terrifying roar of the 50 Oakland police motorcycles called in againts the demonstrators. However, in between music tracks you will hear students telling why they feel their actions are justified, as well as on-the-spot recordings of the arrest of Jack Weinberg and the famous Sproul Door Incident.

This record is dedicated to all who took part in the free speech fight, and specially to those who went to jail for the constitutional freedoms of all students.
