RARE 78 rpm Picture Disc OLD FAMILY DOCTOR Must See!!!
This auction is for a RARE 10" 78 rpm Picture Disc of medical nature. On the one side when played, it has a poem of a medical nature and it has a picture of a painting by Sir E. J. Poynter of ancient Greece and a Visit to AESCULAPIUS the God of Medicine. When the material was laid over the picture it looks as if it turned slightly and it left double vision of the picture and type. the picture looks very clear though the type is ledgible but smeared. The other side it has 8 pictures of the first eight Presidents of the American Medical Association. When played it has A Song of The Old Family Doctor. This is one of those stranges ones you don't see very often. PLEASE see and enlarge the pictures. The pictures are a combanation of scans and photos.The photo's show the full record and the scans show a more detailed but cropped view as the record was wider then my scanner. The scan of the 8 doctors has the color darkened so it can be read easily. This is a real oddity, don't miss this one!!!!
