Description
On offer is a super collectable and extremely desirable original 1970 UK Stereo LP titled - AARDVARK, by the group of the same name.
Label: DERAM. (Red/Silver Deram Nova label) - This was the last LP Deram Nova issued in both Mono & Stereo.
Cat No: DERAM SDN 17
First, the bad news. There is a small circular (Needle point) pressing fault ? (Track 3 - side 1). This is feelable but the LP has been carefully tested and plays through without issue. (Please see photographs) Other than that, this side of the record is a strong VG+ condition. On side 2, there are 2/3 very light hairlines under bright light that do not affect play. Overall and without the fault, I would grade the LP as Very Good + condition. (VG+)
The records comes with the original blue boarded inner sleeve. (VG)
The front laminated sleeve (Including back cover "indicator hole" for Mono & Stereo) remains in at least Very Good / Very Good + condition. There are three narrow areas of lamination lift against the spine on the front (Seems to be a regular problem with this sleeve) and a crease in the lamination across the right corner that is not immediately noticeable. These in no way spoil the overall effect of this iconic sleeve. The pinched spine is still intact and readable. The rear of the sleeve is not far short of near Excellent condition.
A rare and hard to find LP that does not often come up for sale !
PLEASE CAREFULLY CHECK ALL PHOTOGRAPHS THAT IMPORTANTLY ADVISE ON CONDITION.
