CLASH RECORDS CAN'T GET MUCH RARER THAN THIS, CAN THEY ? I BELIEVE THIS IS AN ACETATE FOR THE B-SIDE OF THE FIRST POST MICK JONES CLASH SINGLE "DO IT NOW", DATED 1985. Acetate made at Masterdisk Studio in NYC, a very popular Mastering Studio at that time. I ALSO HAVE AN ACETATE FOR THE A-SIDE "THIS IS ENGLAND" AND THAT IS LISTED SEPARATELY. This would have been used to see how "the cut " or the mastering of the record sounded, usually made for just for The Producer and perhaps a Band Member or two. Record Company exec's would have waited on a Test Pressing (the next step in the process). This Might Be The Only Copy Made, but it is possible there are, or were one or two others.
