Wild Magnolias - 'They Call Us Wild' - ACETATE
RCA (Barclay) - 90 033 - UK 1975
Vinyl Grade: Excellent
Vinyl: Excellent
This is a 1975 Wild Magnolias album acetate - and it's in terrific condition. Those familiar with acetates will know that acetates are a lacquer coated aluminium disc usually cut for testing purposes prior to being pressed up for release. They begin to degrade after a number of plays. Acetates are much rarer than white label test pressings, as very few are made.
This acetate has been cleaned and play tested. It has no skips or clicks, and the usual surface hiss that is associated with acectates is minimal. I would say that this may have been played only once or twice. It appears to have been manufactured by RCA although it was released on the Barclay label. It has no sleeve, but comes in an inner sleeve that looks like it has always been with the record.
Side One: They Call Us Wild / New Suit / Ah Anka Ting Tang Boo Shanka Boo / Fire Water / Injuns, Here We Come
Side Two: New Kinda Groove / Jumalaka Boom Boom / We're Gonna Party / Ho Na Nae
