This is an Andy Warhol created example of album cover art utilizing the Solarization technique, circa 1956.
Solarization: "A special effects darkroom technique that reverses the image on the film by extreme overexposure."
This is a recently discovered Warhol work that is not included in Paul Marechal's comprehensive book, "Andy Warhol,The Album Covers-1949-1987."
This unique art work is displayed on the cover of "Ballet From Vienna".
NOTE: I have just purchased a collection from a dedicated audiophile that includes many special press LPs in outstanding condition, along with some hard to find rarities, there sometimes are small "LAST" stickers on the labels of the unsealed LPs.
