Fact or Myth?   Regardless its a rare find! 

Beach Boys on X Records with Surfin' and Luau.
The Beach Boys' first single, Surfin backed with Luau on the X Records label.  Released in December, 1961. The legend says this was funded by father, Murray Wilson, and sold out of the back of his car in Venice, Southern California. I'd like to believe the Beach Boys dad held this in his hands.

Very small pressing, and perhaps the rarest Beach Boys record of all.

Had to play this one just once; plays well with no skips but it does have some smudges. .
