Description
Bessemer Sunset Four " When I Lay My Burden Down / He Brought Joy To My Soul " Vocalion #1488 (Race Series) 78 RPM 1930. This MAY be the same group as "Bessemer Melody Boys". Not sure. Fairly nice. Still somewhat shiny. Some surface smudges and scuffs. A few light scratches. A couple can barely be felt. A chip on the rim of the B side that JUST barely touches the play area but doesn't affect the play. (Place the needle carefully). Played fairly well (for a 78) on both sides on my equipment. The voices come through pretty loud and strong with some background "sizzling/crackling" with an occasional light "pop". Some wear and tracks and yellowing on the labels.
