RARE BIRD SELF TITLED DEBUT ALBUM "RARE BIRD" ON UK FIRST PRESSING ON THE FAMOUS CHARISME RECORD LABEL CAS.1005 in STEREO.
AN EXTREMELY RARE FIRST PRESSING ISSUE ON CHARISMA IN EXCELLENT CONDITION, FIRST RELEASED IN 1969.

Outstanding Debut Album by of the great British Psych/Rock Bands of the late sixties and 70's, Rare Bird, famous for the excellent single release, sympathy, featured on this album. Recorded and first released in 1969.
The Sleeve Design is Exceptionally Good, striking bold colours. Pyschedelic Bird on a Black Background, typifying the mood of the Era.Fantastic slice of Rock History!!
The record is in excellent condition, original release on the cerise Pink Famous Charisma Label. Both label sides show very little signs of any spindle marking or wear to the centre labels. The labels are very clean, rich, deep colour, very course early issue labels, No writing or grubby marks, Excellent.
The Vinyl is very clean and has a very high gloss sheen. The surface of the record is excellent, a few very, very light surface marks, which are mainly only visible under very strong light, which is only to be expected ot this age. Record plays excellent, free of any hiss/light crackle, the lead ins to each side are excellent, overall excellent sound quality. Nice High Gloss Deep Black Vinyl and Classic Stereo sound. All round excellent Record of Rare Birds' greatest albums, and an opportunity to get Very Rare Original copy.A must have for any true collector of 60's British Psych .
The single Sleeve is in excellent condition. This is the laminated front cover sleeve and has a lovely sheen to the Cover. The sleeve is in excellent condition, there are No nasty creases, No tears, No writing, No grubby marks, No unwanted stickers or rips on the sleeve, or on the record labels. All the outer edges are perfectly sharp and totally intact and in excellent order, no signs of edge wear through storage. The corners are also in excellent order with no wear, dents or creases. The spine is toatlly rigid, no creases or laminate lifting, no wear to surface of spine which is excellent, brilliant white spine with bold black lettering, all the text on the spine is totally intact. The opening edges to the sleeve are very sharp and crease free. There Rear cover of the sleeve is in excellent condtion. No Creases , Writing or Dirty Marks, Excellent.
An Excellent example of this Very Rare Classic Record.
Record comes complete with the original paper Inner Sleeve.
